


Everyone overeats in November (Thanksgiving) and December (Christmas party season). It just CAN'T be avoided by 'most everybody. I watch my waistline by eating at the Mekong Restaurant. Lots of vegetables in their dishes, little (or none) fatty oils used in the preparation, and most dishes consist of healthier (and lower calorie) "meats" such chicken, pork, and seafood. This place has long been a favortie for lovers of authentic Vietnamese cooking. The food is satisfying to the palate, filling to stomach, and easy on the pocketbook.
