Several law enforcement agencies converged on a Toledo Washington residence after someone posted news of a large party on their Facebook account. Members of the Toledo Police, the Lewis County Sheriff's Office, Winlock Police and the Washington State Patrol participated in the response.
Eight people were arrested for being under the age of 21 in possession or under the influence of alcohol. An arrest for driving under the influence in Washington was also made as partygoers left the scene. The county sheriff said that underage drinking is a serious concern and his office has a zero tolerance stance on the issue.
The homeowner and his friends are under investigation for providing alcohol to minors.
