Marijuana Possession Charge Against Teen Dismissed
This teenage client was a freshman in high school and was charged with possession of marijuana by a police officer who searched her purse without her consent and without a search warrant. Objection to the entry into evidence of the lab report showing the substance recovered was marijuana was made on grounds that the search of the purse was illegal was sustained by the judge, and the case dismissed.
