Client and his wife were leaving a dance club when another patron tried to run them over in the parking lot. Client was able to push his wife to safety as the car was coming at them, but he was unable to get out of the way himself. He sustained a severely fractured leg, as well as numerous scrapes and bruises. Fortunately, before the man could flee the area, someone wrote down the license plate number of his car and he was arrested, and subsequently pleaded guilty to felony malicious wounding.
In the civil suit which followed, client obtained a significant judgment.
