When my friend was stopped for speeding, the officer asked me to get out of the car, too. I complied, but I wasn't sure legally, if he couldorder me to do that . Can he?
A: Yes. So long as the traffic stop was justified, the officer may ask the driver, and all passengers, to exit the vehicle.
