Former Virginia High School Football Coach Pleads Guilty to Child Molestation Charges

The former head football coach at J.R. Tucker High School in Henrico County pleaded guilty Tuesday morning to three counts of taking indecent liberties with teenaged students.
William Macgregor "Mac" Leighton, 31, entered guilty pleas in a short court hearing. He was released on bond pending sentencing Feb. 19.
He faces a maximum of five years in prison for each of the three convictions.
Leighton's victims were 15 and 17-year-old students with whom he had a custodial relationship.
Mr. Stelly regularly appears in the courts of the City of Richmond, Henrico County, Chesterfield County, Goochland County, and Hanover County.
